Amman, July 2026 – The King Hussein Cancer Foundation signed a partnership agreement with Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) to execute a project that aims to expand breast cancer early detection services across Jordan's southern governorates, and enhance the accessibility of early detection through KHCC's mobile screening unit.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Abdel Wahab Al-Rawad, CEO of JPMC, and Mrs. Nisreen Qatamish, CEO of KHCF. Dr. Mohammad Thneibat, Chairman of JPMC, and Dr. Asem Mansour, CEO of KHCC, also attended the ceremony.
HRH Princess Ghida thanked JPMC for its longstanding support of KHCF and KHCC, highlighting the company's latest contribution, which will enable women across southern Jordan to access life-saving breast cancer screening through the mobile unit.
Dr. Thneibat reaffirmed JPMC's commitment to supporting KHCF's mission, describing the partnership as part of the company's national and social responsibility. He also praised KHCC's role as a leading national institution delivering world-class cancer care.
Under the agreement, JPMC will fund a mammography device for KHCC's mobile screening unit, as well as a bus to provide transportation for approximately 700 women to access screening services. The initiative will serve more than 334,000 women across Ma'an, Tafilah, Karak, and Aqaba, combining high-quality screening services with community awareness activities to promote early detection and improve access to care in underprivileged areas.
This agreement is the most recent iteration of JPMC’s support to KHCF and KHCC and their mission to fight cancer. It highlights JPMC’s commitment to social responsibility with lasting impact.
