Amman, April 2026: HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC) visited Samih Darwazah Oncology Center at Al Bashir Hospitals, managed in partnership with KHCC as part of ongoing national efforts to enhance cancer treatment services in the Kingdom through national partnerships.
Princess Ghida was accompanied by the Minister of Health, H.E. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Bdour, who provided a detailed explanation of the work being done at the Center and the treatment services provided to patients. During the tour, Her Royal Highness was briefed on the various departments of the Center, which is considered a model of national partnership that brings together the Ministry of Health, KHCC and partners from the private sector, which contributes to expanding access to cancer treatment services, reducing the burden on specialized centers, and ensuring that patients receive integrated health care near their places of residence.
Samih Darwazah Oncology Center has witnessed increasing demand since its opening at the end of 2021, receiving tens of thousands of patients. It provides its services within an integrated system that includes outpatient clinics and chemotherapy, in addition to psychological and social support services.
