HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), celebrated the graduation of 140 children currently receiving treatment at KHCC, who were able ـــ thanks to the Back to School Program ـــ to complete the 2015/2016 academic year without interruption.

The program achieved several milestones this year, including offering intensive English and Math lessons, engaging students in extracurricular activities such as music, and organizing educational and recreational field trips.

Addressing the students, Princess Ghida said: "I send each and every one of you a heartfelt message: you have proven to us and to yourselves that not only can you overcome cancer, but you can also succeed and excel in your studies, refusing to let illness stand between you and your goals.”

Princess Ghida also extended her gratitude to the Back to School Program’s supporters: the Ministry of Education, the Arab Jordan Investment Bank (AJIB) which is the program’s main sponsor, Al-Nisr Al-Arabi Insurance Company, and the Mashrek International School which has hosted the graduation ceremony since the Program’s launch.
