Celebrating Graduates of the Back to School Program

Amman, May 2017 - Under the patronage of HRH Princess Ghida Talal, Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, the graduation of 150 students receiving treatment at the Center was celebrated in a graduation ceremony that took place at Mashreq International School.

The young students benefitting from the Back to School Program were able to complete the school year for the academic year 2016/2017.

HRH Princess Ghida said: "You are our role models, our pride and our hope, and I am confident that you are capable of building a future abundant with success stories that will make us all hold our heads high."

The Back to School Program has had many achievements this year, including an increased number of students benefiting from the Program. To accommodate this increase, the Ministry of Education has assigned three teachers instead of two to the Program. Moreover, the Program has witnessed an increase in the number of students with special needs.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Asem Mansour, KHCC Director General.
