As an avid sportswoman and former competitive swimmer, Princess Ghida has been a major supporter of the sport of swimming in Jordan. Since 1997, Princess Ghida has served as the Honorary Chairperson of the Jordan Swimming Federation (JSF). JSF, first established in 1979, is the governing body for aquatic sports in Jordan and is one of the Jordanian Olympic Committee Federations.
